As a Correctional Officer, I serve many juveniles. The core reason most of them are in jail is the same, they “hang out with the wrong crowd”.
As adults, we understand the value of professional networks, but have you ever though how you and your professional network can support teenagers?
When I was 14 yrs old, a few adults touched my life in ways I never imagined! They basically just said “Yes” when I asked them for an opportunity. (Thank you - Edwin D. Robinson, Margi Dawson, Thomas DeLarge)
Please consider adopting a teenager into your network, “the right crowd”. You have the power to open eyes, touch hearts and change lives. It's easier than you think!
