Obstacles are really opportunities in disguise. By changing your perspective, obstacles can present you with lots of opportunities.
After selling my first few flags in early 2019, COVID-19 hit the USA. With the entire country shut down, I had no hope of making more flags. But my parents helped me change my perspective and view the pandemic as an opportunity rather than an obstacle. After donating a 7- foot flag for Sarasota Memorial Hospital, to honor frontline healthcare workers, we started a GoFundMe campaign to honor all frontline healthcare workers around the country as well as raise funds for homeless vets. The rest is history!
Next time you are faced with an obstacle, change your perspective, and start thinking of the opportunities that lie within.
